Thursday evening, the Nashville Predators hosted their Fifth Annual Preds & Pins Celebrity Bowling Tournament presented by UnitedHealthcare. More than 30 celebrities showed up to Hermitage Strike and Spare to support the cause and raise money for the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund, which helps fund research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
With a goal to raise $30,000, fans and celebrities packed the bowling alley, eager to play a good game and help make a difference alongside some of Nashville's favorite locals. Television and radio personalities, Preds broadcasters and alumni, MLB players and Preds players, all came together to support the cause, many of whom have come year after year.
"The best thing with this event is the consistency of people that come annually," Senior Director of Community Relations Rebecca King said. "They enjoy it, and they ask in the summer when we are doing it. It's just pure, good fun and something that people look forward to participating in."

Prior to the Preds & Pins Celebrity Bowling event, the Nashville Predators Foundation hosted children from Nashville Inner City Ministry and Cottage Cove Urban Ministries, where they bowled alongside defensemen Yannick Weber and Matt Irwin, GNASH and all of his mascot friends.
The entire event was interactive and family friendly, creating a space for the community to have fun, while also making a difference.
"I think the coolest thing about being involved with the Preds as an organization, in any capacity, is what they do and how involved this team is in this community," Host of 102.5 The Game's Braden and Fitz, Jason Fitz said.
"For Braden and I, it's an honor to get any chance to give back. If you have this platform, it means nothing if you don't use some of that platform to give back to the community that supports it. That's what the Preds do better than any other organization in this town - and I think in sports; they give back to the community that allows them to be a franchise, and we're proud to be a part of that."
Ajax Turner's team took first place, with close second and third places from WSMV's Chris Harris and 102.5 The Game's Jason Fitz's teams, respectively.
