Nashville Predators Bring Thanksgiving To Local Charities

Nashville, Tenn. (November 12, 2009) –
Nashville Predators forward David Legwand and defenseman Ryan Suter will be delivering turkeys, donated by Levy Restaurants, and boxes filled with Thanksgiving food from Publix to local charities around Nashville on Monday, November 16. Legwand and Suter will be stopping by Mending Hearts, Rochelle Center, Youth Life Learning Center - Easley and Youth Life Learning Center - Hillside with turkeys for families within the organizations. Nashville Predators staff will also deliver boxes throughout the day to Magdalene House and Nurses for Newborns.

Following the Turkey Deliveries, David & Lindsey Legwand and Ryan & Becky Suter will also host a Thanksgiving dinner for 60 youth from Youth Encouragement Services.

NOTES: Levy Restaurants donated 60 turkeys and “holiday fixings” were purchased to accompany the meals ... the Preds and Second Harvest will be hosting a Food Drive at the November 19 and November 21 Preds home games (click here for more information).
