Nashville, Tenn. (March 20, 2019) - The Nashville Predators, in partnership with the National Hockey League, announced key details surrounding the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, to be hosted at historic Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Predators will face off against the Dallas Stars on Jan. 1, 2020.
In a press conference held Wednesday at Cotton Bowl Stadium, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman was joined by Predators General Manager David Poile, Chairman Herb Fritch and representatives from the NHLPA, Bridgestone and Dallas Stars, among others, to share information regarding the Winter Classic. Wednesday's announcement
included details on the ticket on sale timeline
and broadcasting rights.
Starting April 1, the Predators will release tickets to a variety of groups, including current partners, full and half Season-Ticket Citizens, mini-plan holders and members of Preds Perks, Golden U, Kids Club and Ford Ice Center programs. On April 16, the Predators will open the Smashville Presale, making tickets available to subscribers of the team's "This Week in Smashville" email communication. Those who participate in the Smashville Presale will have the opportunity to sit in the Predators fan section while quantities last.
