Nashville, Tenn. (February 28, 2011) – The Nashville Predators are proud to announce the season ticket renewal and new sales campaign for the 2011-12 Season and the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The campaign features new benefits, reintroduces the popular 2/20 Plus plan and even gives fans and opportunity to be the first in Smashville to boast the team’s newly-designed team jersey.

“The Predators offer a championship-caliber team and a game atmosphere and entertainment value that are second to none,” Nashville Predators Chief Executive Officer Jeff Cogen said. “Customer service and satisfaction are always a top priority. We continue to offer some of the most affordable tickets in the NHL while maintaining our commitment to providing great entertainment – from the on-ice product to the in-arena experience.”

The Predators boast some of the most affordable season ticket prices in the League. After keeping prices relatively flat over the last three seasons – and having raised ticket prices only four times since the team’s inception in 1998, and even lowering prices in the 2005-06 season – the Predators have instituted a modest increase heading into the 2011-12 season, while a total of 3000 seat prices have been kept flat or reduced.

The Predators have also announced the return of their popular 2/20 Plus plan, which is available through March 19 and allows fans who renew a full-season or 23-game plan for the next two seasons, a 20-month interest-free payment option to be drawn directly from a debit or credit account. This plan also holds the line on 2011-12 season-ticket rates through the 2012-2013 season, with a 45 percent reduction in monthly payments over a one year renewal plan.

“This year’s renewal plan truly reinforces the philosophy that the best way to secure the best seats at the most favorable price is to do so early,” Cogen said. “With plans such as the 2/20 Plus we are rewarding our most loyal and consistent fans by locking in their prices for two full seasons.”

With a season ticket commitment to the Nashville Predators, season ticketholders will have access to a new rewards program, which pays back season ticketholders based on their level of commitment, discounted parking options and the opportunity to be the first in Smashville to own the new-look Predators jersey, to be debuted for the 2011-12 season. Full and half season ticketholders that commit to the Nashville Predators by March 19 for next season will also have the option to purchase 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff first-round tickets at 10 percent below the current season ticketholder rate.

“Our season ticketholders are the backbone of this franchise,” Cogen said. “As our way of thanking them, we are offering some unprecedented benefits for them this season. From being the first Smashville citizens to own the new-look jerseys for next season to huge savings off the gate rate to saving money on the first round of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, we’re pulling out all the stops for the most loyal of our fans who sign up before March 19.”

The Nashville Predators were announced as the National Hockey League’s 27th team on May 4, 1998. Since then, the Nashville Predators have grown from a young expansion franchise to a regular contender in the Stanley Cup playoffs, appearing in the postseason five of the past six years. Since the 2005-06 season, they rank among the League’s top five in both wins and home wins. The Predators are led by a pair of 2010 Olympians in captain Shea Weber (Gold Medal, Team Canada), who was recently named a 2011 NHL All-Star, and alternate captain Ryan Suter (Silver Medal, Team USA) as well as goaltender, Pekka Rinne, whose stellar numbers this season put him in the Top Five in the League in goals-against average and save percentage.
