Nashville, Tenn. (November 9, 2017) - The Nashville Predators have announced exciting new additions to their continued partnership with Uber. In addition to ensuring fans have access to reliable rides on game days, Uber is introducing special Preds surprises for all-star drivers and superfan riders.
The Uber All Stars program offers elevated Preds fan experiences for top driver-partners. Riders can nominate outstanding drivers for these experiences by giving them an "All Star" compliment at the end of a trip. Riders can start nominating drivers now, ahead of this Saturday's Preds game, by tapping the "All Star" icon in their app at the end of a trip.
For Preds fans that ride with Uber, stay tuned for the Uber Superfan program later this season. Riders will be able to enter to win tickets and other giveaways via the Uber app.
"We're proud to expand our partnership with the Nashville Predators to both ensure fans have access to reliable rides to and from Bridgestone Arena and celebrate top driver-partners and riders," said Uber Nashville General Manager Persis Elavia. "Starting now, if you're on a trip with a great driver who deserves a night out at a hockey game, be sure to nominate them as an All-Star in your app."
All fans and drivers will continue to utilize the Uber pick-up and drop-off area at the corner of Demonbreun Street and 5th Avenue. Fans can grab a drink at Tavern '96 as they request a ride home and relax while tracking their driver's arrival on the app's map. Riders will then meet their drivers along 5th Avenue in the dedicated pickup area.
Since the start of 2017, the relationship has improved the fan experience to ensure that attendees have access to a safe, convenient and worry-free means of transportation both to and from Bridgestone Arena events and Nashville Predators games.
