Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Saturday that the club has signed goaltender Matt O'Connor to a one-year, two-way contract for 2017-18 worth $650,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL level.
O'Connor, 24 (2/14/92), appeared in 37 games with the AHL's Binghamton Senators in 2016-17, posting a 14-18-1 record with a 3.23 goals-against average and a .895 save percentage. The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, native has one game of NHL experience, making his debut for the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 11, 2015, and recording 34 saves in a 3-1 loss.

A 6-foot-6, 205-pound undrafted netminder, O'Connor spent three seasons at Boston University from 2012-15, posting a 25-4-4 record during the 2014-15 campaign to help the Terriers claim the 2015 Hockey East Championship.
