Nashville, Tenn. (December 19, 2014) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has placed forward Paul Gaustad on Injured Reserve and recalled forward Viktor Stalberg from the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals.
Gaustad, 32 (2/3/82), has missed the past three games with a lower-body injury. He has six points (1g-5a) in 25 games.
Stalberg, 28 (1/17/86), has missed the past six weeks of action due to a knee injury sustained on Nov. 7, during the fourth game of a conditioning assignment with the Admirals. The Gothenberg, Sweden, native also missed the final eight days of training camp and first three games of the regular season due to injury. After playing five games with the Predators, he was sent to Milwaukee on Oct. 27.
Following their three-game road trip that begins Saturday night in Minnesota (7 p.m. CT, FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game) and continues on to Columbus and Boston, the Nashville Predators return home to Bridgestone Arena to face the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. (FOX Sports Tennessee, 102.5 The Game).
