Dear Nashville Predators Season Ticket Holders,
It’s time to play hockey! On behalf of the ownership group and our entire organization, we thank you for your patience and commitment and we are thrilled to announce that the NHL and NHLPA have reached a tentative agreement on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CBA”). This new long-term agreement assures us the opportunity to continue our mission of building a Stanley Cup-winning Nashville Predators team as the centerpiece of downtown Nashville’s thriving Bridgestone Arena.
Coming off our second straight Western Conference Semi-Final appearance, we are looking to go even further this year! We finished the 2011-12 regular season in the Top 10 in points, goals for, goals against, power play and penalty kill and we’re shaping up to be even bigger and more skilled in 2012-13. We have world-class competitors like Shea Weber and Pekka Rinne committed to long-term contracts and we re-signed core players Paul Gaustad, Hal Gill, Kevin Klein, Sergei Kostitsyn, Mike Fisher and Colin Wilson to multi-year deals. The addition of veteran free-agent defenseman Scott Hannan and the maturation of our young talent sets this team up for tremendous success in 2013.
Citizens of Smashville will also benefit from several new enhancements to Bridgestone Arena including the updated DEX All-Inclusive Zone and Twice Daily’s Fan Zone, a state-of-the-art HVAC system – designed to improve ice condition and spectator comfort – and revamped concession stands featuring new selections.
