Lundmark Activated off IR, Assigned to Milwaukee

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators
Nashville, Tenn. (October 20, 2010) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has activated forward Jamie Lundmark from injured reserve and assigned him to Milwaukee (AHL). The team also placed forward Ryan Suter on injured reserve, joining forwards Marcel Goc and Matthew Lombardi.

The transactions leave Nashville’s active roster at 21 players – 13 forwards, six defensemen and two goalies.

The Predators – one of only two teams left in the NHL to earn a point in every game this season (3-0-2) – will look to extend that streak when they host superstar Sidney Crosby and the 2009 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow night at Bridgestone Arena (7 p.m. CT, 102.9 FM The Buzz, Fox Sports Tennessee). Thursday’s game is also Hockey Fights Cancer Night in Smashville with the Predators donating 25 percent of every single-game ticket sold to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, in addition to holding countless other awareness and fundraising events throughout the evening. Tickets are still available for both contests and may be purchased at the Bridgestone Arena box office, by calling (615) 770-PUCK (7825) or online via ticketmaster.com or nashvillepredators.com.
