Local Got Skills winners head to Nationals in NYC

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators

Finalists from January's local Ace's Got Skills competitions will be heading to participate in the national competition in New York City June 22-24 to compete against youth hockey players from other NHL cities. The Nashville Predators hosted their second annual Ace’s Got Skills competitions in January at Centennial Sportsplex (Nashville, TN), Southern Ice Arena (Franklin, TN) and Benton H. Wilcoxon Municipal Ice Complex (Huntsville, AL).  During the events, over 100 Squirt and Peewee house and travel youth hockey players competed from the Nashville and Huntsville areas to determine who’s "Got Skills" in the South.  Read more on the Predators' Ace's Got Skills page, where you'll find a complete list of winners as well as a photo gallery from January's event.

Sunday’s events, June 24th will be broadcast live via the Ace's Got Skills Web site through a partnership with Webcatter Broadcasting, Inc.  Watch the Nashville Predators youth hockey representatives as they compete against kids from other NHL cities!
