In the midst of his fourth training camp as head coach of the Nashville Predators next month, Peter Laviolette will take a break from instructing professional athletes to instead provide a unique opportunity for the community.
On Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., the Brentwood High School Baseball and Softball programs will present "A Night with Predators Coach Peter Laviolette," located in the Brentwood High School main gym. The event will feature a talk from Nashville's bench boss as well as dinner and a silent auction.
Laviolette, who joined the Preds prior to the 2014-15 season, has guided the club to the postseason in each of his three seasons behind the bench, including the franchise's first trip to the Stanley Cup Final last spring. The second-winningest U.S. born coach in NHL history, Laviolette has made three career appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including a championship with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person and can be purchased by clicking here.
