Nashville, Tenn. (March 11, 2011) –
Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Teemu Laakso
(TEE-moo LAK-soh) to Milwaukee (AHL). Laakso was recalled under emergency conditions, and had to be returned when the six current defensemen on the Nashville roster dressed for Thursday’s game.
Laakso, 23 (8/27/87), did not appear in the Predators lineup during his one-day recall. He returns to the Admirals where he has 22 points (3g-19a) in 58 games, in addition to ranking among the defensive league leaders in plus/minus rating (+16).
