Barrie on the win:
"We've been doing it since I got here. This team has just been playing hard and working for each other. And we've got great goaltending and we're giving ourselves a chance to win every night. Tonight I didn't think was any different. We came out with a goal and the guys played hard and it was a big couple of points for us."
Saros on the importance of the win:
"Everybody's going to give their best effort every night. So it's all you can ask for. It's been fun. It's been a different group of guys for the last six weeks or so. But it's been good… Every point is huge at this point of the season so it's a big win."
Duchene on his shootout success:
"I've got a plan. That's all I'll say. You get into a rhythm and you get a good feel for it. Two years ago and the year before that, it wasn't very good and that was something I needed to get better at. I was pretty good last year and this year, you've got to expect to score on those. So those are huge, especially right now. We're getting a lot of shootout games. Obviously some five-on- five scoring has been hard to come by at times for us, but you've got to just be ready for it. [Saros] is always outstanding, so we as shooters have to pull our weight."
Duchene on Nashville's playoff chase:
"We've got to win our games. We've got games in hand, and we have to win our games in hand. That's the bottom line. So every game is big… We've got to take care of what we can control and it's very much in our hands."
Head Coach John Hynes on the team's shootout strategy:
"I get a sheet every game depending on the goalie… People think the shootout's just a skills competition, but as far as us, we put a lot of time and effort into it."
Hynes on facing Seattle again on Saturday:
"I think there's certainly some things we can look at. I think there were some things in the first and second period for sure that we kind of addressed in between periods, but I think sometimes it helps a little bit with video and we'll just give them some more looks tomorrow. I thought in the third period we were on our heels a little bit and I think that that resulted in the shot differential as well. So we'll take a hard look at that period as well and then pick out some components offensively and defensively that we can be better… I think the fact that we're playing Seattle again gives us an opportunity to really study some things and I think it's probably a little bit easier for the players to adapt going against the same team."
