Forward Jeremy Stevenson was claimed by the Dallas Stars on re-entry waivers Wednesday. Nashville had reassigned Stevenson, 31, to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League on Feb. 4. He posted nine penalty minutes and no points in three games with the Admirals.
The 6'1", 215-pound native of San Bernadino, Calif., had seven points (4g-3a) and 74 penalty minutes in 35 games with Nashville this season. In 100 games during two separate stints as a Predator, he accumulated a total of 10 goals, 7 assists and 225 penalty minutes. Dallas becomes the fourth team in a nine-season NHL career that has also included stops in Anaheim and Minnesota.
