The battle for first place in the Central Division adds its next chapter tonight in Winnipeg as the Predators meet the Jets in a massive tilt at Bell MTS Place. It's the fourth and final meeting - at least in the regular season - between the two rivals; the Preds won the first clash before the Jets took the next two.
Both the Preds and Jets will be looking to get back in the win column tonight, but Nashville has earned a point in four-consecutive outings, good enough to give them 90 points overall, just two back of tonight's opponent for the top of the Central. The result of tonight's game could ultimately decide where the two clubs will end up finishing and who they'll each face in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Nashville has been pleased with their on-ice play as of late, and although they fell in a shootout to Pittsburgh on Thursday night, the group didn't view the game as a setback, but rather another positive step as the postseason nears.
