The Nashville Predators can enter the NHL All-Star Weekend and subsequent Bye Week on a high as they face the Golden Knights this evening in Las Vegas in a clash of two opponents with identical records (29-18-4). It's the second of three meetings between the two this season - the Preds defeated the Golden Knights, 4-1, back in October.
The Preds snapped a two-game skid with a 4-1 victory in Colorado on Monday afternoon, with Head Coach Peter Laviolette collecting his 600th career win in the process. Laviolette became the 20th head coach in NHL history to reach the mark and just the second American bench boss to hit 600.
Nashville is expected to get some additional help down the middle tonight at T-Mobile Arena with centerman Ryan Johansen set to return to the lineup after serving a two-game suspension for high-sticking.
