After falling in Vancouver on Thursday night, the Nashville Predators are looking to close out their two-game trip with a win over the Flames tonight in Calgary. It's the third and final meeting of the season between the two clubs; Nashville dropped a 3-0 decision to the Flames in their home opener before winning 5-3 in Calgary on Oct. 19.
The Predators made things competitive in the final period on Monday night in Vancouver, but a sluggish start allowed the Canucks to jump out to a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes, a deficit Nashville was unable to overcome.
"We pushed back in the second half of the game, but it was too late," Preds Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. "The start wasn't good, and it ended up costing us the game."

Nashville is expected to be without their four injured players - Viktor Arvidsson, Filip Forsberg, Kyle Turris and P.K. Subban - again tonight, as they all remain on IR.

NSH Recap: Sissons has goal, assist in 5-3 loss

Last Time Out:
Ryan Hartman, Colton Sissons and Matt Irwin scored for the Preds in their 5-3 loss to the Canucks on Monday. Goaltender Pekka Rinne was pulled after allowing four goals through two periods, but the Predators emphasized after the game that the move was in no way due to Rinne's play. Juuse Saros made four saves on five shots in the final frame in relief.
Ryan Johansen continues to lead the Preds in scoring with 25 points, followed by Roman Josi with 20 and Mattias Ekholm with 17. Hartman is Nashville's active leading goal scorer with eight, followed by Craig Smith with seven and Calle Jarnkrok with six.
The Opposition:
Calgary has won four-straight contests, including a 9-6 victory over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday and a 2-0 win against Minnesota on Thursday. The Flames will be without Captain Mark Giordano and forward Ryan Lomberg tonight after they received suspensions for kneeing and instigating, respectively, for their actions in Thursday's game.
Johnny Gaudreau leads the Flames in scoring with 37 points, followed by Sean Monahan with 33 points, and then Elias Lindholm and Matthew Tkachuk with 32 points each. Monahan has 17 goals on the season, Lindholm has 15, Tkachuk has 13 and Gaudreau rounds out the leaders with 12 goals. Mike Smith is 10-7-1 in net for the Flames on the season.
