The Nashville Predators will try to make it four wins in a row when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at Bridgestone Arena. It's the first of two meetings between the two foes; the Preds will visit the Pens late next week.
With a win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night, the Predators have rattled off three-straight victories for the first time in almost two months. There are only eight games remaining in the regular season, and after struggling to find consistency, the Preds appear to be hitting their stride at just the right time.
Tonight, they'll face another tough test against a Penguins team that is battling to maintain their playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. But, as the Predators always say, it's all about how they play, not so much the opponent.

"We're getting our confidence back, a little bit of that swagger we've had for a couple of years now," Preds forward Colton Sissons said. "It's been tough to find this year, so it's been great to get a couple wins in a row, and to get a big win at home. We've been struggling at home, which we really didn't like, so that was huge."
The Predators practiced with a limited group on Wednesday afternoon and were joined by forward Austin Watson, who returned to the ice for the first time since being returned to available status and entering the follow-up care phase of the NHL/NHLPA Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health (SABH) Program. There is no timetable on a possible return to the lineup for Watson.

Ryan Johansen set a career-high - and a franchise record for a centerman - with his 48th assist of the season, and he continues to lead the Preds in points with 60. Captain Roman Josi has 55 points on the season, Forsberg has 46 and Viktor Arvidsson has 43.
Arvidsson paces the Preds with 31 goals, followed by Forsberg with 26 and Craig Smith with 19. Boyle has five goals since joining Nashville; Simmonds and Mikael Granlund each have one with the Preds.
