After completing a doubleheader sweep on Monday, the Nashville Predators continue their preseason schedule tonight when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning at Bridgestone Arena.
It's the first of two exhibition contests in Nashville this season and tonight's outing kicks off a home-and-home set with the Bolts. The Preds scrimmaged on Wednesday afternoon at Centennial Sportsplex and opted for a day of off-ice workouts on Thursday after six consecutive days of some sort of on-ice participation across training camp.
Following Monday's doubleheader in Florida, Predators Head Coach Peter Laviolette put an emphasis on seeing his players in game action as much as possible during camp, as the situations allow his staff the best opportunities to evaluate.
