How to Watch, Live Stream Jets vs. Preds

The Predators conclude a three-game Central Division stretch as they welcome the Winnipeg Jets to Nashville this evening. It's the first meeting between the two foes this season; the Preds have won four of their last six outings against the Jets.
Forward Austin Watson, who received a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct on Saturday night, has been suspended for two games. As a result, Nashville brought Pontus Aberg
back to Nashville
from his conditioning assignment in Milwaukee.
The Predators are trying to go 2-for-2 on their current home stand after defeating the Avalanche on Saturday night, scoring five or more goals for the fifth time this season, with each goal coming from a different skater.

"A lot of guys are chipping in," Preds defenseman Mattias Ekholm said. "Everyone wants to play. I think the competition is really good in here, and everyone is playing well, and that helps each other out. If you have a bad game, you know you have to be on your toes for the next one because guys are stepping up, guys are scoring, so everyone has to play on their top level every game and every night. That's just the name of our team right now."

Last Time Out:
After seeing their five-game winning streak come to an end, the Predators bounced back with a 5-2 win over Colorado. Craig Smith, Colton Sissons, Anthony Bitetto, Viktor Arvidsson and Ekholm all found the back of the net, while Pekka Rinne recorded his 10th win of the season.
Ekholm has goals in three-straight games and Smith has tallied in four of his last six games. Filip Forsberg hit the 20-point mark in the win and leads Nashville with nine goals and 11 assists.
The Opposition:
Winnipeg has started hot, currently sitting three points and one spot ahead of the Predators in the Central Division. They begin a four-game road trip tonight having won four in a row, including a 5-2 victory over New Jersey on Saturday.
Blake Wheeler leads the club with 25 points, while Mark Scheifele has 11 goals and 24 points. Patrick Laine has tallied on 10 occasions; Nikolaj Ehlers has eight goals. Connor Hellebuyck has gone 11-1-2 in net with a .931 save percentage.

The Predators are 20-11-1-3 all-time against the Jets, including a 12-5-0-0 record at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville has won four of its last six games against Winnipeg and won both of its games at home against their opponent in 2016-17, scoring 10 goals. The Preds have won two consecutive games over the Jets at Bridgestone Arena and five of the last seven, outscoring them 24-14 in the process.

Craig Smith matched his career high for goals in a game with two on March 8, 2016 on the road in Winnipeg. Pekka Rinne has a 12-4-1 career record against the Jets' franchise along with a 2.15 goals-against average, .921 save percentage and two shutouts. Ryan Johansen has 18 points (9g-9a) in 14 career games vs. the Jets and had a five-game point streak (5g-6a) against tonight's opponent from Dec. 10, 2015 to Nov. 25, 2016. Roman Josi has four points (4a) in his last three games against Winnipeg.
