Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced Tuesday that the club has recalled forward Harry Zolnierczyk from Milwaukee (AHL), removed defenseman Anthony Bitetto from Injured Reserve and sent him to Milwaukee on a conditioning assignment.
Zolnierczyk has appeared in one game for the Predators this season, a 5-1 win against Pittsburgh on Oct. 22. He skated 7:50 and recorded one hit, one blocked shot and two penalty minutes in the victory. The 29-year-old has played in 24 games for Milwaukee this season and recorded 16 points (6g-10a). He is tied for the team lead in power-play goals with three.
Bitetto has appeared in four games for the Preds this season. He earned his first point of the season with an assist on Nov. 29 in a 5-3 victory at Colorado.
The Predators return to the ice at home tonight at 7:00 p.m. against the Montreal Canadiens before hitting the road for a three-game road trip. The game will be shown live on FOX Sports Tennessee and can be heard on the Predators' flagship radio station, 102.5 The Game.
