The Nashville Predators host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at Bridgestone Arena in an exhibition contest, the first of two meetings between the foes this week. Nashville will skate in Columbus on Saturday night to finish their preseason slate.

The Preds enter the evening holding a 3-1-0 record in the preseason, including a two-game sweep on Saturday over the Florida Panthers. Columbus rattled off four-straight wins to begin their exhibition schedule, before falling to Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon.

The Predators trimmed their roster down to 28 late Saturday night, assigning players such as forward Colton Sissons, as well as goaltenders Marek Mazanec and Magnus Hellberg to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. Forwards Kevin Fiala and Filip Forsberg, and defenseman Johan Alm are among the skaters who remain on the Preds current roster.
