The Nashville Predators are set to make their only trip to the Pacific Time Zone during their six-game road trip on Sunday evening to face the Vancouver Canucks for the first time this season. Tonight's contest will be Vancouver's third game in four nights.

Nashville lost for just the second time in regulation during the 2014-15 campaign on Friday night in Calgary, falling 4-3 to the Flames. James Neal potted his sixth and seventh goals, while Craig Smith tallied in his second-straight contest.

Similar to the Preds, the Canucks are also off to an impressive start under first-year head coach, Willie Desjardins. Vancouver holds a 8-3-0 record on the campaign, including a 3-2 win over Edmonton on Saturday night.

Tonight's contest is the first of three meetings between the two clubs this season and the only one scheduled to take place at Rogers Arena. Nashville is 21-31-(3)-4 all-time against the Canucks with a 10-18-(1)-0 record in British Columbia.

Matt Cullen turns 38 years old today, making him only the second player in Predators franchise history to suit up for the club after celebrating that birthday. Former defenseman Hal Gill holds the distinction of the oldest player (38 years, 21 days) to sport the Preds logo.

Preds forward Derek Roy donned a Canucks sweater for 12 games in 2012-13 after a deadline deal that landed him in Vancouver. Roy posted six points (3g-3a) over that span. Forward Mike Ribeiro has 23 points (6g-17a) in 35 career games against the Canucks.
