The Nashville Predators will look to start the season 3-0 when they host the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena.

The Peter Laviolette era in Nashville has gotten off to a successful start, with the Predators scoring seven goals over their first two contests, on their way to collecting wins over Ottawa and Dallas. Forwards Paul Gaustad and Eric Nystrom are tied for the team lead with four points apiece, with Gaustad finishing off a Gordie Howe hat trick on Saturday against the Stars.

The Flames have gotten off to a 1-2-0 start on the 2014-15 campaign, earning a 5-2 victory over Edmonton on Oct. 9, while falling to Vancouver and St. Louis thus far.

Nashville is 29-20-10 all-time against the Flames, including an 18-9-3 record versus Calgary at Bridgestone Arena. Preds forward Eric Nystrom was drafted by the Flames with the 10th overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, skating in 204 games in Cowtown from 2005-10. Coincidentally, Nystrom recorded the Preds first-ever, four-goal outing in franchise history last season in Calgary.
