Game 3 Projected Lineup: Predators at Stars

Brian Boyle, Wayne Simmonds Out Week-to-Week; Rocco Grimaldi on Fourth Line

The Predators and Stars Round One series moves to Dallas for Games 3 and 4, with Game 3 tonight at 8:30 p.m. (CT). 

Nashville won Game 2, 2-1, in overtime to tie the series, but lost Brian Boyle (illness; day-to-day) prior to the game and Wayne Simmonds in the first period. Simmonds took a puck to the leg and briefly returned during a TV timeout for a test lap, but the veteran forward did not resume game action. Predators Head Coach Peter Laviolette did not have an update on Simmonds's condition on Sunday. 

Update: Simmonds is week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Boyle underwent an appendix procedure and is also week-to-week.

The Preds held a full morning skate on Monday at American Airlines Arena, but Boyle and Simmonds were not present. Below is a Predators projected lineup based on the session:
