Flagships to air special features for Thanksgiving

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators flagship television and radio stations will have special programming featuring the team for Thanksgiving Day.

First up, 104.5 The Zone will be giving thanks for a year of great sports, and one of the best Predators games from last season will be featured during the morning hours. Tune in from 9 a.m. until noon as The Zone rebroadcasts last year’s dramatic overtime victory over the Red Wings from Feb. 24, 2007.

Paul Kariya tallied the game-tying goal with just 1:04 remaining in regulation, sending the fourth of eight meeting between the two teams to overtime. Just 2:11 into the extra session, Kariya found his newest linemate, Forsberg, driving to the net, and he redirected the game winner past Chris Osgood for a 4-3 Nashville win.

Then at 6:30 p.m., FSN South will broadcast the first and only "Predators Game Night" of the month, preceding its broadcast Predators and the Red Wings live from the Sommet Center. The 30-minute show will feature a piece on the Predators Training Camp visit to Fort Campbell, Ky., where they received a hands-on soldiering orientation experience from the Night Stalkers, a unit of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

Tickets are still available for the Thanksgiving night matchup between Nashville and Detroit by calling (615) 770-PUCK, logging onto or, and by visiting the Sommet Center Box Office located in the arena tower.
