Filip Forsberg Answers Fan Questions

by Nashville Predators / Nashville Predators

The Nashville Predators leading scorer and rookie phenom, Filip Forsberg took a minute to sit down and answer questions submitted by Preds fans on Twitter this week. From queries about the first-year forward's routines on and off the ice to who he would select to accompany him in a country music trio, Forsberg gave intriguing answers to the list of questions and provided a few laughs while he was at it.

Forsberg:
“Mainly I just listen to what Bobby Nye [Eric Nystrom] mixes up before the game. I just sit back and listen to what he’s got going, there’s nothing I have to worry about in that area.”

Forsberg:
“That’s tough. My first goal was pretty special. But this whole season has been really good too. It’s kind of hard to just pick one, but if I had to, I guess I’d go for the first goal. But hopefully there are better things to come this season.”

Forsberg:
“My dad. He played when he was younger, so I grew up watching him. That’s kind of how I got into hockey and he was coaching me when I was younger. He’s the biggest reason I started playing hockey.”

Forsberg:
“I’m pretty lame to be honest. I don’t really do a lot of interesting things outside the rink. We usually just watch TV for awhile and then I cook dinner with the boys. That’s about it. Nothing too crazy, if there’s something on the schedule then we’ll go do it, but usually we take it very easy.”

Forsberg:
“I have to pick myself right? So it’s me for sure, and then probably Roman [Josi], he could be good. Nystrom isn’t into country music so I can’t pick him. I’ll go [Carter] Hutton.”

Forsberg:
“[Laughs] No. Obviously not. That’s just one of the reasons I’m so glad I get to be on his team and not against him.”
