Erat out for Game 4

by Staff Writer / Nashville Predators

Predators winger Martin Erat will miss Game 4 after testing a right leg injury during Wednesday's morning skate. Erat, who left Game 3 midway through the second period and did not return, took a few light laps around the rink and tried some more aggressive skating before exiting the rink. After the on-ice session, Predators head coach Barry Trotz confirmed that Erat would not be in the lineup Wednesday night.

Erat's roster spot will likely be filled by Ramzi Abid, who has been recalled by Nashville from Milwaukee (AHL) and was at the morning skate Wednesday. Abid collected 1 goal and 4 assists in 13 regular season games with Nashville. If inserted into the lineup, Abid will be making his NHL playoff debut.
