The Nashville Predators and the Predators Foundation have a busy week for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Preds to host flood benefit
In honor of the one year anniversary of the devastating floods in Middle Tennessee, a clothing and food drive will be held on the Bridgestone Arena plaza prior to Tuesday and Thursday’s games. This drive will benefit The Salvation Army and Second Harvest Food Bank. Fans are being asked to bring summer clothes and non-perishable food items for donation.Beard-A-Thon
Having trouble growing your playoff beard? Don’t worry! The Preds will be selling playoff beards for $10 before Games 3 and 4 of the Conference Semifinals at Bridgestone Arena. The beards come in three colors – black, brown and gray. Fans will be encouraged to upload photos of them in their beards to www.beardathon.com/predators

.Predators Foundation 2011 grants total $325,059
The Nashville Predators Foundation will distribute 116 grants totaling $325,059 to Nashville and Middle Tennessee-based community service and charitable organizations on Tuesday, May 4 at a ceremony held at Bridgestone Arena. The Foundation has awarded nearly $3 million in financial grants since 1998. This year’s distribution is the largest one-time allocation in team history.
