Nashville, Tenn. (March 24, 2009) – The Predators announced today they will be holding a box-office-only individual-playoff-ticket presale this Saturday, March 28 from 3 - 8 p.m. at the Sommet Center box office. This presale includes tickets for the first two potential Predators home games of the first round of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Individual playoff-game prices start at $26.
The presale beings two hours prior to the special 5:00 p.m. start of that evening’s game when the Predators host the Los Angeles Kings. Tickets may only be purchased between the hours of 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sommet Center Box Office. The general sale will open on Monday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, as well as the Sommet Center ticket office.
In the event the Predators do not make the playoffs, a full refund will be issued for all tickets. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
The playoff-ticket presale coincides with Earth Hour – a worldwide event which brings awareness to energy conservation and climate change. The Sommet Center will kick off the Nashville Earth Hour when it becomes the first of many downtown buildings to power down for an entire hour (8:30-9:30 p.m.). Country-music star Jo Dee Messina is scheduled to perform a free show for fans on the plaza in front of the Sommet Center post-game before the lights go out and Nashville Mayor Karl Dean will drop the puck at the ceremonial 5:00 p.m. faceoff.
Tickets still remain for the Predators final five home games. For information, prices or to order tickets, call (615) 770-PUCK (7825) or visit nashvillepredators.com.
