Predators 2009 draftees Gabriel Bourque and Charles-Olivier Roussel were stand-outs for Team QMJHL in the 2009 Subway Super Series vs. Team Russia, each recording three points during the two games against the Russian Select Team. Roussel, a second round pick by the Preds this summer, led all defensemen in scoring and tied for the team overall lead in assists (three), while Bourque scored the game-winning goal in both contests.

Bourque and Roussel picked up assists on power-play goals later in the period Team QMJHL went into the second intermission with a 6-3 lead, en route to a 8-3 win.

The 2009 Super Series continues tonight (Nov. 19) with the Russian Select Team opening a two-game set against Team OHL. The OHL squad will be captained by Preds '09 first round pick Ryan Ellis. Fellow Preds prospect Taylor Beck will also skate for Team OHL. Michael Latta was also named to the team, but will have to miss the games due to injury.
