The Youth Hockey Scholarship at Ford Ice Center will be distributed on an annual basis to assist male and female hockey players ages 18-and-under with their NPAHA youth league fees. These need-based grants will lay the basis for youth with diverse backgrounds to continue playing hockey, providing a fun, safe and active outlet as they mature and grow into young adults.
Please read the NPAHA Youth League Overview before applying to make sure your child is eligible. In addition, eligible participants must be able to skate on their own and have completed Learn to Skate or PREDecessor learn to play hockey program prior to beginning the NPAHA Youth League.
(Scholarship Application is due two weeks before the start of the season)
Fall: August 20 - October 23 (Apply by August 5)
Winter: November 5 - January 29 (Apply by October 21)
Spring: March 11 - May 21 (Apply by February 24)
Summer: June 6 - August 3 (Apply by May 22)

Termite 6U Division (Birth Years 2010-2012): $239/season
Mite 8U Division (Birth Years 2008-2009): $239/season
Squirt 10U Division (Birth Years 2006-2007): $439/season
Peewee 12U Division (Birth Years 2004-2005): $494/season
Bantam/Midget 13 & Up Division (Birth Years 1998-2003): $528/season
2016-17 Travel Hockey Fees:
Preds Select Squirt 'A' (Birth Years 2006-2007): $1,295/season* * Does not include $500 deposit to reserve spot on team.
To complete your application, you'll need to provide your child's 2016-17 USA Hockey Registration Number. Registration with USA Hockey is done online and is $46/year (valid through August 31, 2017). To obtain your 2016-17 USA Hockey registration visit: usahockeyregistration.com. Print a copy of the receipt/confirmation page for your records and have your USA Hockey No. to enter in the application below.
Once you have completed your scholarship application below you will need to provide the following additional documents prior to the deadline referenced above to be considered:
Letter of recommendation from school teacher or professor stating why student should receive a scholarship.
Essay written by player explaining why he/she wants to play hockey and reasons to consider them for the scholarship.
