Robert Nilsson’s goal late in the third period lifted Wilkes-Barre/Scranton past Norfolk, 3-2, in the AHL East Division Semifinals on Sunday.

The Penguins captured the series, 4-2, and advance to the East Division Finals for the fourth-straight season, where they will take on the Hershey Bears. Games 1 is Wednesday in Hershey.

Micki DuPont and Joe Jensen both scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, which held a 2-0 lead through nearly the entire second period.

Norfolk scored twice late into the second period to tie the game before Nilsson scored the game-winner with 2:35 left in regulation.

Nolan Schaefer earned the win in goal as he stopped 25 of 27 shots.

The Penguins visit Hershey for Game 1 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Game 2 is Friday at 7 p.m. in Hershey before the series moves to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for Game 3 Saturday and Game 4 on May 9.
