The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins won two of three games over the weekend. They pulled out a 5-4 overtime thriller against Rochester Friday night and cruised to a 4-1 victory in Syracuse Saturday before dropping a 3-2 contest at Hershey Sunday.
Forward Eric Tangradi scored four goals in the three contests, including a two-goal night at Syracuse. He now has a team-best five goals in seven games this season.
Paul Thompson scored two goals against Rochester and added assist for a three-point weekend. Other players chipping in over the weekend were Beau Bennett (1G-2A), Riley Holzapfel (1G-2A) and Benn Ferriero (3A).
