The Pittsburgh Penguins were set to faceoff against the Philadelphia Flyers for the fifth meeting between these teams this season and the fifth in the history of the Consol Energy Center.

It was Steve Sullivan with an assist from Sidney Crosby who started the day off early with a goal just over a minute into the first. Shortly after, James Neal's 39th of the season made it a 2-0 game. Support for the offensive opening was a team effort:

In the opening of the second period, The Philadelphia Flyers tied the game at two a piece. It all came down to the third period to decide the victor.

Despite Steve Sullivan's second of the game, the Penguins fall to the Flyers 6-4. These two teams meet again Saturday at 4p.m.
