Penguins forward Teddy Blueger underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured jaw, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Blueger was injured from a hit during the first period of yesterday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Brandon Humberger of UPMC Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
The forward is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
