A few families in the north Pittsburgh area received some packages from FedEx Monday afternoon. That’s a pretty typical occurrence considering that FedEx is one of the world’s biggest delivery service providers.
But what made today’s experience so unique wasn’t simply the package, but the deliverer.
Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis, dressed from head-to-toe in a FedEx uniform, hand delivered tickets to a select few season-ticket holders.
“I have a FedEx delivery for you guys,” Dupuis notified each hold as they answered the door.
The delivery was a twist on the Pens’ yearly season-ticket delivery day (click here for the day’s other big twist. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this).
Other than wearing a FedEx uniform and riding around in a FedEx truck, it was a typical season-ticket holder delivery day for Dupuis. He shook hands, made friends, played some garage/driveway hockey, competed in bubble hockey and signed a few autographs.
