Goaltender Brent Johnson
, who boasts an undefeated 5-0-1 record, ranks second in the league in goals-against average (1.16) and save percentage (.960). Johnson recorded his 14th career shutout with 33 saves at Carolina Oct. 30. He has allowed two or fewer goals in his six starts this season.

- Kris Letang is tied for the scoring lead among defensemen with 11 points, second (tied) among defensemen with three goals and fourth (tied) among all skaters with a plus-8 rating.
- Matt Cooke is second in the league with 44 hits.
