How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan?
Since I moved to Pittsburgh about 7 years ago. The Pens were my first experience with hockey, and I fell in love immediately with the game.
Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)?
Tell us about your favorite Penguins memory.
It's a tie. When I attended my very first live game (which I rarely get to do), it was so exciting to be in the action, and hearing the loud goal buzzer and the roar of the crowd when we scored was really awesome. Something I'll never forget! Also, when we won the Stanley Cup and the Superbowl in 2009. What a history-making year that was! Witnessing fans rush into the streets celebrating when we got the cup.....and getting to touch the cup myself....that was fantastic. These experiences make me so happy and proud to be part of a town that loves their sports, which I have never had before moving to Pittsburgh.
On game day I usually...
Put on all the Pens gear that I have and after work, my friends and I head down to our favorite watering hole, have a few beers and watch the game. Hockey has helped to create a strong bond between me and my friends, which makes the games all the more fun to watch!
