Ryan Mill will fill in as the Pittsburgh Penguins’ public address announcer while John Barbero recovers from a medical condition, the team announced today.
Mill, 37, a Pittsburgh area native who lives in Cranberry, will make his debut Tuesday night, when the Penguins open their pre-season schedule against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Mellon Arena (7:30 p.m.).
Mill is a professional voiceover specialist who has worked for numerous local and national clients and has extensive radio experience.
Barbero has handled the Penguins’ PA work for more than three decades. The Penguins wish him all the best in his recovery.
