Record Ratings for Pens Playoffs on FSN

FSN Pittsburgh, the exclusive rights¬ holder for Pittsburgh Penguins regional telecasts, recorded its ninth-highest rated Penguins playoff game of all-time on Wednesday night, April 15, 2009 with a 14.7 rating with the Penguins 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in Round One, Game One of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

“The record ratings again last night are another affirmation that Pittsburgh is truly a hockey town,” said Ted Black, Sr. Vice President/General Manager, FSN Pittsburgh.

Last night’s Penguins playoff game on FSN Pittsburgh was presented by B.E.A.R. of Pennsylvania.

The Penguins host the Flyers for Round One, Game Two on Fri., April 17 at 7:00PM with pre-game coverage beginning at 6:30PM on FSN.

FSN Pittsburgh led all FSN regional sports networks in NHL ratings for the 2007¬-08 Penguins regular season and playoffs as well as the 2008-09 Pens regular season.
