ON THE STARTING GOALTENDER
Sullivan: "Matt (Murray)."
ON FACING MARC-ANDRE FLEURY
Letang: "It's going to be an emotional night when we're facing him. Obviously Marc-Andre was a special guy, a special player for the Penguins. It's going to fun to see him. It would be better on our side."
Crosby: "When you shoot on a goalie for 12 years I think he gets to know your tendencies pretty good. I like to think I know a few things about him too."
Murray: "He was definitely the biggest mentor I've had in my pro career. I wish I had more time to study under him and be around him. Unfortunately, we're on different sides now. It'll be interesting. It'll be a bit surreal seeing him at the other end, and competing against him. It'll be a lot of fun as well."
Sullivan: "I don't think any of us are going to overthink it. He's obviously a really good goalie. He's an elite goaltender, has been for a long time in this league. He's a guy that our whole team is very familiar with, as he is with us as well. I don't know that there is any advantage on either side. It is what it is."
ON HORNQVIST-MALKIN-KESSEL LINE
Hornqvist: "We'll see how it is, but I feel comfortable playing the left. We have to get better and change the lineup a little bit. I'll go even harder at the net and create space for them. I don't want to have the puck. They should have the puck. We have to make sure we take it to the net, too. We can't just play on the outside."
Sullivan: "(Hornqvist) is a guy that goes to the net, goes to the battle areas. He plays a pretty simple game. Whoever that guy is that plays with 'Geno' and Phil, the coaches feel that we need more net traffic and net presence."
ON THE KNIGHTS
Crosby: "They all play the same way, every line. They all work really hard. They're committed to play as a team. They have guys contributing from different areas, defensemen, all four lines. They're a really confident group right now. They seem to have really good games here and feed off the crowd here. They're playing a team game and we better be prepared to make sure we do the same."
Sullivan: "I think they're a really good hockey team. They have a lot of good players. They're deep in the sense that there's not a significant drop off between the first line and the fourth line. They've got balance throughout their whole lineup. They're playing extremely hard right now. They're well coached. They're feeling pretty good about their team, as they should. We know it's going to be a big test. We have to make sure that we're ready for it."
ON VEGAS NIGHTLIFE
Sheahan: "More getting used to the time change. A couple of us went to different shows, Cirque shows. There's so much to do here. It's a fun city to be in. It's pretty cool to have a hockey team here."
Sullivan: "Some of our guys took in a show. Vegas is an exciting town and has a lot to offer. I'm sure that everybody that comes in tries to take advantage of any opportunity that they might have."
