Penguins Announce 2018 Preseason Broadcast Schedule

AT&T SportsNet to broadcast the September 22 home game versus Columbus, NHL Network to air two others; the Penguins will stream home games against Detroit and Buffalo on

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced their 2018 preseason broadcast schedule today. This year, fans in the local Pittsburgh market will have the chance to watch five games during the preseason.

Pittsburgh's lone preseason television appearance on regional rightsholder AT&T SportsNet will be on Saturday, September 22 against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 3:00 PM at PPG Paints Arena.

The first opportunity for fans to watch the Penguins will come shortly after the Pens play their first preseason game on Tuesday, September 18, a 7:00 PM visit to the Buffalo Sabres. While that game will not appear live, it will air in tape delay twice on NHL Network - Wednesday, September 19 at 1:00 AM and Wednesday, September 19 at 12:00 PM.

Fans can also watch the Penguins on NHL Network, this time live, later in the day on Wednesday, September 19 when Pittsburgh visits the Detroit Red Wings at 7:30 PM at Little Caesars Arena.

The Penguins plan to live stream their other two home games on - Sunday, September 23 at 3:00 PM against Detroit and Wednesday, September 26 at 7:00 PM against the Buffalo Sabres. Only fans who live in the local Pittsburgh/AT&T SportsNet region will be able to access the streams. More details on the streams will be announced closer to those games.

All six Penguins' preseason contests can be heard on the team's official radio flagship, 105.9 The X. Hall of Famer Mike Lange will call the September 23 "Free Game for Kids" against Detroit alongside Phil Bourque. Josh Getzoff will call the other five games with Bourque.
