Pittsburgh Penguins Students for Stanley Video Contests for Allegheny County & City of Pittsburgh Schools

by Staff Writer / Pittsburgh Penguins
The 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs are here!  The Pittsburgh Penguins are reaching out to students in Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh to capture the excitement of the playoffs through video contests encompassing Grades 1 - 12.

As the team embarks on its quest to recapture the Cup, we are asking all students to assist us in supporting the team through their school spirit and enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Penguins!

One elementary, middle and high school will be chosen as a “Students for Stanley” contest winner.  The three schools will be awarded a $2,500 donation from the Penguins to be used for an in-school program benefitting the student body.  The videos of each winning school will also be featured on the Penguins website.

All videos must be uploaded to YouTube at www.youtube.com.  Once your school’s video has been uploaded, please submit the link to the Penguins at http://www.pittsburghpenguins.com/studentsforstanley.  For more information and rules, click here.

Please direct any questions to Kathleen Unger in the Penguins’ Community Relations Office at kunger@pittsburghpenguins.com.
