An appearance by actor Anthony Daniels, who plays C-3PO in the Star Wars movie series, will highlight 'Star Wars Theme Night' when the Penguins host the New York Islanders Thursday at PPG Paints Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite Star Wars characters, and more than 75 costumed members of the "501st Legion" will be walking the concourse during the game. A Star Wars photo opportunity will be set up in the Highmark Hallway.

Special Star Wars ticket packages are still available, including one VIP experience that features a meet-and-greet with Daniels (who will be attending his first-ever hockey game). Information on the Stars Wars packages can be found at https://www.nhl.com/penguins/tickets/ticketing-special-offers. Everyone purchasing a Star Wars ticket package also will receive an exclusive Penguins/Star Wars t-shirt.
The Penguins' game-night presentation will have a Star Wars theme, with movie clips and unique co-branded content.
Thursday's game is the second in a season-long series of Penguins theme nights that began with Halloween Night in October. Upcoming theme nights include "Ugly Sweater Night" on December 21 against Columbus; "70s Theme Night" on January 4 against Carolina; "80s Theme Night" on January 25 against Minnesota; and "90s Theme Night" on February 15 against Los Angeles.
Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com; at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Box Office at PPG Paints Arena; or by calling 1.800.745.3000.
