Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and other Penguins players will be in attendance when the Pens hold a special Fan Fest on Sunday at PPG Paints Arena.
The event, presented by UPMC, will be held in two sessions -- from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Players scheduled to appear in the 10 a.m. session are Crosby, Kris Letang, Marc-Andre Fleury, Olli Maatta, Trevor Daley, Chris Kunitz, Matt Cullen, Brian Dumoulin, Eric Fehr and Ian Cole.
Players scheduled to appear at the 3 p.m. session are Malkin, Matt Murray, Phil Kessel, Nick Bonino, Carl Hagelin, Patric Hornqvist, Bryan Rust, Conor Sheary, Tom Kuhnhackl, Justin Schultz, Scott Wilson and Derrick Pouliot.
A limited number of tickets remain for the afternoon session. They are on sale for $10 at ticketmaster.com and at the Dick's Sporting Goods Box Office at PPG Paints Arena. Proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
Players will engage with fans through Q&A sessions, interactive demonstrations (including a kids-only press conference and a cooking demonstration), playing on a drop-in hockey rink and more.
Autograph sessions will be held at both sessions, but, fans are not guaranteed access to autographs. Fans in attendance will be given a scratch card similar to the ones used by the team for Fan Appreciation Night. Prizes included on the scratch cards include access to scheduled autograph sessions, locker room tours, free concession items and more.
Each of the two sessions will also feature interviews with Penguins General Manager Jim Rutherford and Head Coach Mike Sullivan regarding the upcoming season and the team's Stanley Cup Championship run.
In addition to player appearances, fans will have the chance to browse a Hockey Hall of Fame trophy exhibit featuring many of the awards won by the team throughout the years as well as a jersey display visually depicting the evolution of the team's uniforms. Numerous photo opportunities, historical displays and other kids-themed activities will also be available.
Parking will be available in the PPG Paints Arena surface lots as well as the PPG Paints Arena Parking Garage located on Centre Avenue. The event parking rate for Fan Fest is $10.
The team store, PensGear powered by Reebok, and concession stands will be open during each session.
