Pittsburgh Penguins and the American Red Cross To Hold Blood Drive on Sunday, Feb. 27

The Pittsburgh Penguins and American Red Cross will host a blood drive on Sunday, February 27 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at CONSOL Energy Center.

Donors will have an opportunity to talk hockey with Penguins alumni members throughout the day including Bryan Trottier, Pierre Larouche, Warren Young and Jay Caufield.  In addition, team broadcasters Mike Lange and Phil Bourque will be on hand to greet donors.
Donors will receive a Jordan Staal jersey-style t-shirt, while supplies last, and are eligible to win Penguins memorabilia.

Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in Pennsylvania), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. Donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. Individuals should bring their Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when coming to donate.
Complimentary parking is available in the South Lot or East Lot.  Donors will enter CONSOL Energy Center at the Verizon Gate on Centre Avenue.
