The Pittsburgh Penguins will host a Youth Power Skating School for boys and girls ages 5-17 from December 29-31.
The three-day school will begin at Mellon Arena on Monday, Dec. 29. The second and third days, Dec. 30 and 31, will be held at Iceoplex at Southpointe. The event is presented by Alcoa.
Participants will be taught by Besa Tsintsadze, a world-class power skating instructor from the Republic of Georgia. Tsintsadze has worked with numerous individual hockey players and teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, to strengthen and polish their skating skills.
Age groups for the school are 5-8 (mite), 9-10 (squirt), 11-12 (pee wee) and 13-17 (bantam-midget). Students in each age group will participate in one 50-minute on-ice session each day.
The registration fee is $195 per skater, with discounts available for siblings. Click here to Register online!
