10:23 PM: The Penguins Score!!!!! They win the game! Bill Guerin scores a power-play goal to win the game in over time!

10:21 PM: The Pens get a five-on-three advantage.

10:20 PM: Biron just left the crease and skated out to meet Adams who was on the breakaway. The puck popped up into the air and it left the net empty, but Adams couldn't get to the open cage in time to score.

10:15 PM: Gill gets two minutes for cross checking. The Flyers go on the power play.

10:07 PM: Cooke gets a shot off from the near circle, but Biron shuts the door on Cooke's shot.

10:01 PM: Fleury makes two spectacular saves in succession, the second on a Richards' shot from the slot, to keep his team in the game.

9:53 PM: This is it! Do or die - overtime begins.

9:42 PM: This is the Penguins first playoff overtime meeting with the Flyers since the two teams battled out five extra periods on May 4, 2000.

9:38 PM: The third period expires but the Penguins late goal forces the game into overtime.

9:30 PM: The Penguins tie the game with the man-advantage! Letang took a shot from the near point which caromed in off of Malkin's skate. Penguins 2, Flyers 2.

9:28 PM: The Penguins get a power-play opportunity with a little over four minutes left in the game. We'll see if they can tie it up.

9:19 PM: Fleury just robbed Carter of a goal, making an unbelievable toe-save on a shot Carter took from point blank.

9:04 PM: The Flyers take the lead. Giroux dropped the puck to Powe in the far circle and Powe took a rocket of a shot which eluded Fleury's right shoulder for the go-ahead goal. Flyers 2, Penguins 1.

9:00 PM: The third period starts up.

8:42 PM: The second period ends and the game is tied at 1-1. The Penguins outshot the Flyers, 13-9, in the period.

8:35 PM: The Penguins tie the score with a beautiful goal! The play was nothing short of brilliant. Crosby passed the puck out of the Penguins zone to Malkin, who evaded a Flyers' defenseman and sent a perfect pass across the slot to Guerin. Guerin wristed the puck over a downed Flyers defender and past Biron's stick side for the point. Penguins 1, Flyers 1.

8:31 PM: The four-on-four expired with nothing coming of it for either team.

8:26 PM: We get a little bit of four-on-four action as Carle and Crosby both sit in the box.

8:08 PM: Fedotenko nearly scores on a wrist-shot from the slot, but his shot misses the empty cage by just inches.

8:05 PM: The Penguins open the period with a great scoring chance by Matt Cooke, whose shot eluded Biron but sipped through the crease and past the net.

8:02 PM: Here we go! The Second period is starting up. We'll see if this period matches the intensity of the first period.

7:45 PM: The period concludes with a huge scrum in the corner behind the Flyer's net and the referees have to break it up. The Flyers outshot the Penguins, 14-12, in the frame.

7:38 PM: Fleury shut the door on Jeff Carter who took a shot from the near circle.

7:36 PM: By the way, Penguin forward Mike Zigomanis skated for the first time this morning. He won't be back in the lineup anytime soon, but it is a good sign.

7:35 PM: Kunitz checks Ryan Parent behind the Flyers' net, and the force of his check sends Parent's helmet to the ice.

7:31 PM: The Flyers net the first goal of the game on the power play. Matthew Carle took a one-time shot from the point which Scott Hartnell was able to re-direct through Fleury's five-hole. Flyers 1, Penguins 0.

7:27 PM: While the Flyers promised to be more disciplined this game, they just drew the first penalty of the game. Rookie Luca Sbisa (who is playing as a forward but is usually a defenseman) received two minutes for high sticking Kris Letang.

7:21 PM: Wow, this game is rocking! Orpik just crunched Lupul into the boards in front of the Penguins' bench, and then Crosby laid-out on the ice to block a shot. The Penguins are leading in shots so far, 4-3. The Penguins have racked up 15 hits so far in the game.

7:15 PM: Kunitz knocks Gagne to the ice with a huge open-ice check. The Penguins are peppering Biron with shots.

7:10 PM: The puck drops and the Penguins win the first face-off.

7:08 PM: The crowd cheered for Jeff Jimerson who belted out the National Anthem with gusto. Let's Play!

Marc-Andre Fleury is in net for the Penguins and at the other end of the ice Martin Bron is in net.

7:04 PM: The clock is ticking closer to face-off time and the crowd is definitely ready for more action. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some playoff action.

The Penguins have opted to scratch forwards Eric Godard, Miroslav Satan and defenseman Philippe Boucher.

The Flyers have scratched forwards Riley Cote and Daniel Carcillo (one-game suspension).

6:51 PM: It's the most wonderful time of the year, and Game 2 is here. The Arena is buzzing with excitement as over 17,000 devoted fans file itnto their seats with white rally towels in hand.
