5:37 PM: It's official, the Pens have bested the Boston Bruins with a final score of 6-4. Thanks to the stellar performance of Chris Kunitz, who netted three of the Pens 6 points in the monumental win.

5:32 PM: Staal scores an empty-net goal with just under a minute left in the game to assure the Pens a victory over the Bruins. Penguins 6, Bruins 4.

5:13 PM: Petr Sykora scores a go-ahead goal. Staal dished the puck out from behind the net onto Sykora's stick. Sykora shot the puck past Thomas on the far side for the point. Penguins 5, Bruins 4.

5:04 PM: The Bruins tie the game with a power play opportunity. Sykora was in the box for hooking when Michial Ryder landed a wrist-shot from the far circle for the point. Penguins 4, Bruins 4.

4:59 PM: Unbelievable! Kunitz gets a break away and nails the puck past Thomas for a hat trick! The Penguins take a 4-3 lead. Penguins 4, Bruins 3.

4:56 PM: The Penguins convert on a power play opportunity to tie the game at 3-3. Gonchar took a shot from the point which Kunitz tipped in for the point. Penguins 3, Bruins 3.

4:53 PM: The third period begins. There's still 20 minutes left in this hockey game and hopefully the Pens can finish strong.

4:37 PM: The Second period ends with the Pens trailing the Bruins, 3-2. The Bruins outshot the Penguins, 12-8, in the period.

4:20 PM: The Bruins score a short-handed goal to gain the lead in the game. Blake Wheeler took a shot from the slot which sneaked past Garon on the glove side. Bruins 3, Penguins 2.

4:04 PM: The Second period begins with the score tied at 2-2.

3:46 PM: The first period ends and the Penguins maintain their up-tempo game, outshooting the Bruins, 13-5, in the first frame.

3:40 PM: The Penguins tie the score with a five-on-three advantage. Crosby held onto a rebounded puck and skated it into the middle of the slot before releasing the shot. The shot was deflected in by Kunitz for the point. Penguins 2, Bruins 2.

3:29 PM: Boston's Phil Kessel finds the net and the Bruins take a 2-1 lead 10:16 into the first period. Bruins 2, Penguins 1.

3:15 PM: The Bruins tie up the score. Mark Stuart took a shot from the high slot which was tipped in by Mark Recchi. Penguins 1, Bruins 1.

3:14 PM: The Penguins net an early goal. From behind the net, Crosby dished the puck to Guerin who hammered is past Thomas. Penguins 1, Bruins 0.

3:11 PM: The puck drops for this anticipated afternoon match between the Bruins, ranked No. 1 in the East, and the Penguins.

Mathieu Garon is in net for the Pens and their only scratch is Craig Adams.

The Bruins have Tim Thomas in net. Scratches for Boston are forward Stephane Yelle and defensemen Shane Hnidy and Matt Hunwick.

3:07 PM: Today's match between the Penguins and the Bruins marks the Penguins' 100th consecutive sellout. The Pittsburgh Penguins would like to thank its stellar fans for their constant support.
